Homlepong eller humlepung var "påsen" som dei la humle (blomst og kongler - det som gjev bittersmaken)i når dei bryggja øl. Omtrent som ein tepåse (bitte liten striesekk). I dag brukar me det mest som eit godt meint skjellsord - vetle homlepongen!
